A Cry for help: Battling Bankruptcy and Eviction with My Disabled Mother

Story
Hello there. Whomever might be reading this, I hope you are well!
My name is James. I’ve recently had to file for bankruptcy, and life has been spiraling ever since. My disabled mother lives with me, and despite all my efforts, we’re now on the brink of eviction. We managed to receive some rental assistance, but unfortunately, it only covered a portion of what we owe. Every day is a struggle knowing that we might not have a roof over our heads soon—especially considering my mother’s health issues and limited mobility. I’m terrified of what will happen if we lose our home, and the anxiety of endless bills and mounting debt has overwhelmed me. I’m doing my best to stay strong for both of us, but I feel powerless against the financial burden crushing us. Any help or support means more than I can put into words—it would be a lifeline that might keep us from losing everything we have.
