Short Story
I’m raising £4,000 to help pay off my debt. Any participation will hugely help me. I am a nurse assistant and after being assaulted at work in A&E resulting in a rib fracture, I left my job to join a nursing agency for my mental health, unfortunately the agency NHSP had proven very difficult to earn a living wage, scarcely any shifts available and ones that I did manage to book, got cancelled by the wards to give their own staff the overtime.
I have a mortgage with my partner and as we are both on minimal wage, I had to use my MBNA credit card to pay for my half of the mortgage, bills and food.
My account has been closed at the agreement of paying £100 a month back which I am doing, however I am getting married in 2026 and need to put savings away for that.
The dark cloud of debt is constantly over my head, and is making me suicidal. I realise this is my mess and I am trying to get out of it as quickly as possible, it has already affected my credit score massively for the next 6 years and I am praying every day I can pay this off quickly.

So, if there are any kind and generous souls with money to spare, you would be changing my life with any amount of donation and finally give me a reason to keep going.
